Mining matters are quiet. Several mines are just
about to start work. Mr. Beeston and the new
manager to-day took over the Burra Burra copper
mine, near Mount Boppy, for the new proprietary,
Messrs. Walton and Co. They intend to erect water
jackets and to develop the property.
