DISCOVERY NEAR NYMAGEE.
NYMAGEE. Thursday.
Mr. Goodwin, who has a place at the junction
of Nymagee, Cobar, and Mount Boppy roads,
reports that he has discovered a gold-bearing
reef about a mile from his house. He has se-
cured a prospecting claim, and 30 local men
have taken out miners' rights, and gone to
inspect the reef. At present there is nothing to
warrant a rush, as only two or three small
specks of gold have been seen in about 2cwt. of
stone brought into town by the finders.
