The Australian Town and Country Journal, Saturday July 30th, 1892
The Railway Commissioners provided a free
train recently to take all who wished to go down the
line from Cobar as far as Mount Boppy and back.
There was a great roll up of the public, who formed
into small picnic parties. The weather was all that
could be wished for the occasion, and all passed off
without an accident. On the return at Cobar cheers
were given for the commissioners.
